It can purify air. The Mother in Law’s Tongue plant is the master of formaldehyde absorption. A pot of it can absorb half the formaldehyde in a 10 square meter room in just 6 hours. It also absorbs computer radiation and releases oxygen at night. It represents tenacity and resolution. <\/span>Sansevieria trifasciata is native to tropical West Africa forming dense stands, spreading by way of its creeping rhizome. Its stiff leaves grow vertically from a basal rosette. Mature leaves are dark green with light gray-green cross-banding and usually range between 70\u201390 cm long and 5\u20136 cm wide.<\/span><\/p>\n
